This kitchen went from dark and closed to light and open in this much needed update!
EXISTING CONDITIONS
This kitchen started as basic brown cabinets, black countertops, and backsplash. The pantry was consuming a large portion of the kitchen’s working space.

DESIGN + TRANSFORMATION
In this transitional Highlands Ranch kitchen remodel, the layout was completely reworked in order to have a more open and brighter space. The new kitchen was updated to a transitional design. The black countertops were replaced with a lighter, Arezzo granite countertops complemented by a subway tile backsplash. The Medallion cabinets gave the kitchen a fresh updated feel. The addition of the window seat alleviated the need for a table, thus allowing more room to move around the kitchen.
