This client spared no expense when it came to finishes, so it is no surprise that this project received a stunning upgrade!
EXISTING CONDITIONS
This project included a large kitchen remodel and a master bath remodel. The existing kitchen cabinets were dark brown and the existing countertops and backsplash were stone.

DESIGN + TRANSFORMATION
This couple opted to swap their dark kitchen for something much lighter and brighter. While retaining the original footprint of the wall cabinets and island they swapped their dark brown cabinets for a cream color with a distressed finish. The existing granite countertops were replaced with a more subtle material – a stunning quartzite called Taj Mahal. Additionally, an off-white subway tile with a distressed finish was used in place of the existing stone backsplash. Despite the many upgrades, two elements remained from the original kitchen: the light fixtures and the hood above the range.
